The ProTrack program was the launching pad to my dream of becoming a speaker. Since ProTrack I have done a segment on a local CBS morning show, written and delivered my signature keynote speech, produced products and learned how to sell them in both the back of the room and on the internet. All of this because of the support and knowledgeable advice from seasoned successful speakers and other members of ProTrack. Wow! Sometimes we really do get more than we bargained for, and this year, as a member of NSA – Virginia’s [ProTrack Speaking Academy], I surely did. Initially, I thought I would be tutored on the finer points of stage presence and speech writing, but I received so much more during my year in the mentoring program. My confidence and readiness to take the stage has grown by leaps and bounds and I have found a true clarity of voice for my audience as well. The real surprise and icing on the cake was to also gain the know-how to set up a successful speaking business and to use the internet as a way to build my community of interest and hence my customer market. What a terrific experience and significant shot in the arm for my business.
