Description: As a motivational keynote speaker, Dorothy's passionate and interactive style gives you confidence to make tough decisions, along with your roadmap to get there.
Dorothy's personal experiences and hurdles have significantly contributed to the Proactive Pathway process. Just one example - a short 10 months after beating ovarian cancer in 2001, Dorothy competed in her first triathlon. In her words, she did it as a "celebration of victory over cancer." Since then, Dorothy has competed in multiple triathlons, including reaching the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. It's this fervor in facing obstacles that has gained her the respect of both men and women throughout her personal and professional life.
Out of this, she brings the message that each of us has the capability to reach beyond boundaries, achieving goals step by step.
Bio: Dorothy Erlanger is a speaker, business founder, owner and entrepreneur. She has over 28 years of business knowledge and consulting experience gained in a corporate setting for ten years and as a business owner and consultant since 1984. She brings to her top-ranked clients a blend of consulting, training and unique personal experience coupled with her capability as an outstanding group facilitator and a continuous emphasis on actionable results. Dorothy overcame physical and emotional hurdles including a serious birth defect of her right hand, being the first woman hired into an all male industry and surviving a cancer diagnosis at the peak of her career. Building past these challenges, Dorothy established a successful international consulting business, while at the same time giving back to her business and educational community and helping others realize their own potentials. Dorothy is an inspiration through her professional accomplishments as well as through her personal journey.
